Anticipation… is everything.
I am a woman who loves spontaneity. Surprises and all that come with it are definitely things that tantalise my taste buds. This is why I am generally available for last minute dates here there and everywhere. The thrill I get when that email appears with the *urgent heading for my immediate attention proposing I pack my overnight bag and dash now to the station as there is a wonderful man who needs my bodacious body by his side ASAP. But life doesn’t always allow for spontaneity, we live in a world with structure and detail driven daily lives.
Pre booking dates may seem to some like a boring chore lacking any fun and removing some of the thrill that a last minute request delivers on. I would like to disagree and propose my argument as to why pre booking dates is just as thrilling and possibly, more so.
The art to pre booking a date and making it as seductive of an experience as the date itself lies in planning. Surrendering over to the constraints of our daily lives and the need to have things organised into a plan needn’t be viewed as less than the spontaneous evening. In fact if you take the time and pre plan the date you can create the ultimate pre date foreplay, anticipation. There are few things as delicious as the knowledge that you will be feasting upon a lovers tryst very soon.
By taking the time to plan out a date for you and your chosen companion you are creating a wonderful taste of what’s to come. When you select a date and time in advance, locking it in… you both then get to relish the feeling of anticipation that comes with that knowledge. Knowing when and where you will be together is in itself an aphrodisiac. Looking at the dairy and seeing the pleasure approach each day as you get ever closer to it. Making more little plans as you go to enhance and add to it, ramping up the anticipation you both share with a dinner reservation here maybe even a show there. Deciding what champagne to have waiting in the room.. What you will both be wearing when you take a step out into the moonlight together. All of these little pieces coming together over time extending the the date far beyond that little circle in the diary. This delicious ramping up of anticipation with the knowledge of what’s to come intermixed with your own little fantasy of what will soon come to pass. It’s far more than the much overlooked antithesis to one the day enquiries. The anticipation itself will have you hot under the collar and the date itself, explosive.
Much the equal to the thrill of the on the day enquiry, pre booked dates come with their own little appetiser. A longer and more refined one drowning in sexual tension. A feeling that will only leave you wishing for more.
