So long to the endless rain of Winter and hello to the much anticipated sunshine of Spring.

Well if it’s my first blog post of twenty twenty six!

As the title implies, it’s been rather wet hasn’t it? - And not in the good way.

My mind and body are feeling rested and revived as the energy of the a new season changes course for all. I’ve been decluttering my soul as well as spring cleaning my life, I imagine i’m not alone in that regard. There has been an endless melencholy surrounding the start of this year, whether it’s the seemingly endless stream of bad news that dominates the headlines every day or perhaps that it’s been so cold, grey and drizzly. Whatever the cause it’s been a rather subdued start to a year I think we were all anticipating to be the culmination of recovery from the madness of the 20’s so far. We are now over half way through the decade and I don’t think our version is living up to the roaring monikar of the last.

There has been a few remarkable entries though and some where there is a testament to kindness that has been shown toward me. If you are in the lucky club to recieve my newsletter then the Spring edition that is going out today will share all the details of what has ‘been up’ with Winter Woods lately. This is not the place to share those details but let’s just say life came at me with the full force of a freight train running off the tracks and i’ve been managing a catastrophe with no help and little steam. It has been what we would say these days - A lot.

But the situation has passed, and in time to as this is the season of renewal and rebirth. I am dusting off the cobwebbs, putting my sluttiest corset on and digging out my dancing shoes, because this complete and utter slut has been anything but lately and I am determined to change that.

I am ready to step out again with a fully unleashed diary with no more personal obligations or meetings to attend. And if you have an invite that includes a boarding pass and some respite where we get to snog in the sand somewhere very far away from this island I call home then do not delay as I am itching for an adventure, i’m already packed, passport ready and quite literally bouncing on my heels to get away and live life to fullest. Think magic and margaritas with a beautiful gothic siren on your arm and in your bed. Temptation never looked so good, it’s a modern day victorian gothic romance novel waiting to happen. Just say the word!

For now at-least I shall say adieu.

Come and find me under the stars this spring and let’s make this year one we’ll never forget.

With love,

Winter x
