It is almost that time again when the heat brings about another turn around the sun, and I find myself positively feral with a need to celebrate all season long. I am, of course, talking about the season that ages me every year… Summer! And this summer is no different; I plan to fill it with quality over quantity. Part of it is due to my recent complications (You can read about that in my blog). There is a need to lock in dates more securely than the usual path, but also offer a reward for those committed enough to make sure that this birthday season goes off without a hitch or in my case, as little stress as possible, as stress is my own personal enemy of late. Its attempts to take me out have so far been thwarted. We can’t be having that now, can we?

As I’m taking on fewer dates until the end of August, I am prioritising pre-bookings, my summer date offers, and run away with me dates are being given top priority and availability. My diary is having to be micromanaged to a degree that those who’ve known me have never seen before, as I have to factor in rest days and manage what I can do to a pleasurable level and not what I wish I could do. I guarantee that any dates booked under either of these (summer & run away with me) will be given my absolute best in terms of energy, commitment and execution. I do hope it’s been tantalising enough and you will be spending some celebratory time with me this Summer, god knows that there is a lot to celebrate after my little brush with the afterlife. What a tragedy that would have been! So here’s to turning another year older and the gift that is being able to kiss under the stars on a warm and not so lonely night.
